Residential Property Lawyer – Rayleigh Office

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced and dynamic residential property lawyer seeking a long-term career within a busy, CQS accredited residential property department.

You will manage your own caseload and must have a strong technical knowledge in freehold, leasehold, shared ownership and new build transactions as well as the ability to work in a high volume, face-paced environment.

You will be expected to build an excellent rapport with existing clients and agents and possess the skills to attract new clients and build new contacts.

This is a permanent, full-time role providing the opportunity to undertake the full mix of residential matters and the opportunity to work alongside our associate solicitor.

As well as working with an experienced associate solicitor within the department assisting with his caseload, you will also manage your own varied caseload of clients.

This role provides the opportunity for the successful candidate to utilise and grow their existing knowledge. You will be able to provide effective and commercially aware advice to a wide spectrum of clients and will gain significant client exposure.

Contentious Probate Lawyer – Basildon office

This is a great opportunity for a contentious probate lawyer to join our growing business and play a fundamental role in the continuing development of this work type.

The successful candidate will need to be either a contentious probate specialist or have a background in litigation which includes a good level of exposure to contentious probate work.

You will be responsible for handling the majority of our contentious trust and probate case load.

You must demonstrate technical expertise, knowledge and experience sufficient to take on your own caseload, with minimal supervision. Building a good rapport with existing clients and attracting new clients is essential for this role.

Having previous experience in undertaking marketing activities will be an advantage as the role will require you to self-market and undertake general marketing activities on behalf of the department and company.
