Marissa joined Palmers in August 2016 as a solicitor in the Wills and Probate department. She trained with another Legal 500 firm before qualifying as a solicitor in 2010 and was retained by that firm, following her qualification, specialising in Family Law.
Having changed specialisms to Wills and Probate matters, Marissa is experienced in dealing with matters including drafting Wills and Codicils, drafting and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney, registering Enduring Powers of Attorney, and dealing with the administration of estates. Marissa also specialises in Court of Protection proceedings.
Marissa is a full member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) having completed a STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates and she is registered as a Dementia Friend.
Outside the office, Marissa enjoys singing, travelling, attending comedy clubs and baking.
