Helen Cox is a Solicitor in the Wills, Trusts and Probates team at our Rayleigh office, having joined the firm in October 2018. Helen qualified as a solicitor in September 2008.
She specialises in matters including Court of Protection proceedings, Estate Administration, Will drafting, preparation, drafting and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney and registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney.
Helen works with a wide range of clients, but predominantly those who are looking to protect their assets if they were to become incapable of looking after them and to make sure their loved ones are looked after once they pass away.
Prior to joining Palmers Solicitors, Helen worked for seven years in Private Client law at another Essex-based law firm.
She also has experience of working as a Mental Health Administrator at an NHS trust, giving her extensive knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act. This has equipped her with skills in assessing the mental capacity of usually elderly clients and the skills to assist those who struggle to understand the complications of matters relating to Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Probate.
Helen is a Dementia Friend.
Away from the office, Helen enjoys baking, reading and spending time with her family, friends and two cats.
