We have named the winner of our August colouring competition.

Tanish Kirodian who is 12 years old coloured in an outline of a train, impressing the judges with the vibrant colours he used and his creativity. Tanish wins a £20 Amazon voucher in recognition of his efforts.

We have been running a colouring competition for children from across the region since the Coronavirus outbreak forced the closure of schools.

With most children now back at school, the August competition was the last for the time being.

Kimberley Portas, Project Manager at Palmers Solicitors, said: “We were very impressed by Tanish’s entry and his creativity.

“We have had some fantastic entries from across the South Essex region over the last few months, which have really showcased the talents of children locally.

“We hope that the monthly competitions have made lockdown easier for children and their families over the last few months.”
