We head to the seaside with our August colouring competition

News Article

We are heading to the seaside with the unveiling of our August colouring competition.

We launched the competition at the beginning of the pandemic to provide a fun challenge to help keep children aged up to 16 from across the local area occupied.

Augusts’ competition gives children the option to choose between an outline of a beach scene or a steam train scene to colour in, to be in with a chance of winning a £20 Amazon voucher.

The launch of August’s competition follows the announcement of four-year-old Suhana as the winner of July’s competition. She was selected as the winner because of the vibrancy of her colouring of a balloon outline.

Kimberley Portas, Project Manager at Palmers Solicitors, said: “Each month it is extremely difficult to select a winner from all the wonderful entries we receive and I am sure that will be the case for August, just as it has been for July.

“Suhana is a deserving winner of July’s competition and her colouring was very impressive for someone who is just four years old. A £20 Amazon voucher is on its way to her.

“With the school summer holidays in full swing, I would encourage families from across South Essex to enter.”

To enter the completion, families can download outlines from https://www.palmerslaw.co.uk/colouring/, which they can colour in, scan or photograph and return using the instructions on the form.
