Palmers Solicitors raises hundreds for local charity with Christmas carol concert

News Article

We have raised hundreds of pounds for two local charities with a collection at its annual Christmas carol concert.

We invited clients and contacts to the service at Holy Trinity Church in Rayleigh on Tuesday 11 December 2018.

A collection at the concert raised a total of £631.23, which will be split between the Polly Parrot Appeal for children’s services at Basildon and Thurrock Hospitals and the Rayleigh Town Museum.

Lee McClellan, a Partner at Palmers Solicitors, said: “Our Christmas concert is always a highlight of the calendar and it was wonderful to see so many of our clients and contacts there.

“The Polly Parrot Appeal and the Rayleigh Town Museum both carry out important work in the local area and we are delighted to have been able to raise such a good sum to support this work.

“I would like to thank those who donated for their generosity.”

The previous day, Lee McClellan travelled to Treetops School, a specialist school in Grays, to announce the winners of the firm’s annual Christmas card competition, which sees designs by four pupils included in the firm’s Christmas e-card.
