We have signalled our ambitions for our residential property offering by appointing a new Partner to head the department.

We have appointed licensed conveyancer and head of conveyancing at their Basildon office, Nicola Tubbs, as a Salaried Partner.

Nicola’s appointment marks three significant ‘firsts’ for Palmers. She is the first non-solicitor Partner to be appointed at the firm, the first dedicated Partner to oversee the residential property team and the first Partner to have joined the firm as a trainee legal secretary.

The firm’s residential property team acts for clients including, landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers.

Nicola said: “Our residential property team has an excellent reputation across South Essex and I am delighted to be able to lead the team in my new role as Partner.

“I am looking forward to the opportunity to continue developing our expertise and profile and to providing the best possible service to our clients.”

Carey Jacobs, a Partner at Palmers Solicitors, said: “It is wonderful to have been able to promote Nicola to become a Partner. Her rise through the ranks from trainee legal secretary underlines our commitment to identifying and then promoting on the basis of talent, enthusiasm, hard work and overall performance..

“Nicola’s promotion also signals our ambitions for our residential property offering as we work to continue providing the best possible service to all our clients.”
