Helen Jago, an Associate at Palmers Solicitors, abseiled down the 160ft Affinity Water Tower in Harlow last weekend, raising over £400 in the process.
The funds raised will go to the firm’s chosen charity, the Polly Parrot Appeal for the Children’s Wards at Basildon and Thurrock Hospitals.
Helen Jago said: “Climbing up the inside of the tower and abseiling down was daunting to say the least, but the view from the top was amazing and the challenge was made all the better by the knowledge that I was raising so much for a deserving cause.
“I am grateful to everyone who has donated to help improve the lives of young patients at our local hospitals.”
Tim Steele, a Partner at Palmers Solicitors, added: “We are delighted that Helen has been able to raise so much for our chosen charity. These funds will help make a real difference to the lives of young patients at Basildon and Thurrock Hospitals.”
