We back next generation of professionals with award

News Article

We have given our backing to the next generation of legal professionals by presenting an award to a local A Level student.

Our firm sponsored the Award for Legal Excellence at William De Ferrers School in South Woodham Ferrers.

Georgina Leighton, a solicitor at our South Woodham Ferrers office, attended the School’s annual prize-giving ceremony on Monday 18 December 2017 to present the award to Maya Gladman.

Maya was chosen for the award in recognition of her achieving the highest A Level Law result at the school this summer. She has now gone on to study Law at the University of Sussex.

Georgina Leighton said: “At Palmers Solicitors, we are keen to encourage the next generation of legal professionals, so I was delighted to present this award to Maya.

“Maya has clearly worked hard and shown great enthusiasm in her legal studies. She is a deserving winner of the prize.”

We regularly celebrate the achievements of local people from across South Essex, supporting both the Thurrock Education Awards and the Basildon Council Volunteer Awards.

Meanwhile, we were recently recognised by the judges at the Thames Gateway Business Awards, where we were presented with the Customer Service award.
