At the end of October, Palmers Solicitors hosted a coffee and cakes morning at their South Woodham Ferrers office to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Attended by the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, the event raised £234.00 for the charity and saw Lester Magness win the raffle’s star prize of a £100 voucher for Palmers’ legal services.
Lara Murray said: “The event was an amazing success. We had a steady flow of local businesses and clients and the atmosphere was bubbly and alive. It was lovely to have the Mayor and Deputy Mayor there and it’s great that we raised so much money for charity.”
