The Palmers Christmas Card Competition has been running for 17 years and at Christmas 2014 we once again worked with the Treetops School in Grays.
Treetops is a school for children and young people between the ages of 3 and 19 who experience moderate learning difficulties. The school use a programme called Applied Behaviour Analysis to guide the treatment and successfully change the behaviour of children with autistic spectrum disorders.
Partner Lee McClellan said ‘It is impossible not to be impressed by the work done by those at Treetops, which has a very good reputation in the local area. We are proud to be associated with the school and its students and their involvement in our Christmas Card competition was once again welcomed and enjoyed by us.’
Palmers’ Matt Johnson subsequently attended at the school to hand out prizes of gift vouchers to the children whose pictures were chosen to appear on the Palmers Christmas Card. and commented that he was “very impressed with the high standard of drawings entered by the children.”
