Palmers Solicitors is proud to announce that one of its Basildon-based solicitors has passed the third of four exams that will enable him to obtain the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Diploma in Trusts and Estates.
Jonathan Saunders is now three-quarters of the way to holding an industry standard diploma that develops a practical and detailed understanding of the law and procedures involved in trust and estate administration, tax and accounting.
The Diploma comprises four papers and completion of the programme provides a recognised professional qualification for those specialising in the trusts and estates field.
Basildon-based Jonathan completed his LLB Honours degree at the University of Kent before undertaking the Legal Practice Course on a part-time basis at the College of Law in Bloomsbury, London. Jonathan qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and joined Palmers in the same year.
Partner Lee McClellan commented: “Well done Jonathan! His hard work and dedication is clear to see and we have every confidence that he will pass the fourth exam and obtain his Diploma later this year.”
