Richa Arora is a solicitor in the commercial and residential property departments at our Thurrock Office. She joined Palmers in March 2014.
After graduating from Queen Mary University of London with a first class honours degree in law, Richa completed her legal practice course at BPP Law School, achieving a distinction.
After two years spent working for the Office of Fair Trading as a legal assistant in its Consumer Credit Policy and Enforcement Group, as well as the Cartels and Criminal Enforcement Group, Richa trained with a law firm in central London in commercial and residential property, litigation and employment and corporate immigration. She qualified in the residential property department of the firm.
Richa has experience in residential property matters, and has acted for private and corporate clients in the sale of freehold and leasehold properties, as well new-build and shared ownership properties over varying levels of developments. She specialises in Commercial Property law, and provides advice on a range of commercial property transactions including sale and purchase of freehold properties, grant and acquisition of new leases, as well as lease renewals and variations.
Outside of work, her interests include running, eating out, playing badminton and travelling. She is also fluent in Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.
