Chris retired as a partner at the end of January 2014, having been a partner in the former practice of Steggles Palmer and a founding partner of the present practice in 1983.
He has practised in South East Essex for more than 44 years and built up a wide private client base. He continues as a consultant to Palmers, undertaking Private Client work.
He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a member of the Law Society Private Client Section and a specialist in estate administration, wills, lasting powers of attorney and the creation and management of trusts.
Chris has been a chorister in his local parish church for more than 59 years and also sings at various other venues throughout the year. He is also the chairman of the Charity of Roger Reede, providing almshouse accommodation in Romford for more than 70 elderly people.
