Make sure you are ready for the GDPR and protect your business from Cyber Crime!
Monday 16 April 2018
Rayleigh Town Museum, 1st Floor, 91 High Street, Rayleigh, SS6 7EJ
With just weeks to go before the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect in the UK on 25 May 2018, Palmers Solicitors and Rochford District Council are delighted to invite you to a free seminar covering the key points you need to be aware of.
The GDPR is set to significantly change the UK’s data protection rules and our specialists will discuss the steps that businesses need to take immediately to ensure they are compliant with the new regime.
Meanwhile, the ever-present threat of cybercrime will also be on the agenda at the event, with a discussion covering how criminals operate, the impact of cybercrime and what to consider from an IT, training and insurance perspective.
To assist you with this task, the event will hear from:
- James Barr, GDPR Consultant
- John Moorhouse, GDPR Consultant
- Dean Coppen and Faye Mann of Barclays Corporate on Cybercrime
- Lara Murray, employment specialist at Palmers Solicitors, on GDPR and the need to review HR, data and other policies
Date: Monday 16 April 2018
Time: 3.30pm to 6.30pm
Venue: Rayleigh Town Museum, 1st Floor, 91 High Street, Rayleigh, SS6 7EJ
