Palmers Three Peaks Challenge

On the 22nd June 2007 six members of our commercial team:- Mike Hunter, Clive Tant, Simon Bruce, BJ Chong, Adam Shirley and Tom Lawrence completed the Palmers Three Peaks Challenge in aid of the Essex Wildlife Trust's campaign to build a Visitor Education Room at Langdon Nature Reserve near Basildon. 

The Three Peaks Challenge involves scaling the three highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales (Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon) within 24 hours.

Mike, Clive, Tom and Adam undertook the walking and they were supported by BJ, Simon and Simon's wife Jennifer, who undertook the driving, cooking and other thankless tasks.

Despite some aching limbs and bad weather (including snow on Ben Nevis!) the team completed the Challenge in 23 hours and 45 minutes. 

Palmers are delighted to have raised £1,350 towards the Visitor Education Room.
