Keen cyclist Mark Harris, a solicitor at South Essex-based law firm, Palmers, will be returning to the saddle this month to raise more money for charity.
Mark, who works at the firm’s Basildon office in the Debt and Insolvency Department, recently took part in the 54-mile London to Brighton Bike Ride with his daughter Cara – managing to raise £449 for the British Heart Foundation.
Now he, joined by more family members and friends, will be taking part in another ride on Foulness Island on 11 September to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Mark said: “We are really looking forward to taking part in this challenge with the rest of our family and we hope to raise around £200 for this wonderful cause.
“Most people will have been either directly or indirectly affected by this terrible disease at some point in their life, so we feel it is really important to support the Society in whatever way we can.”
Lee McClellan, a Partner at Palmers, said: “All of us here at Palmers are very proud of what Mark has done and we are delighted that he is using his pedal power again to raise money for another wonderful cause.”
