Palmers Solicitors appoints new Partner and new Associate

Palmers Solicitors has promoted Luke Morgan to Salaried Partner and Maisie Yau to Associate Solicitor at the firm with effect from 1 August.

Luke is currently an Associate Solicitor at Palmers, having joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 2011. Since his qualification as a solicitor he has worked in the Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department.

Luke has a wealth of experience in a wide range of contentious disputes and provides legal advice in areas including contractual disputes, professional negligence claims and shareholder disputes.

Maisie is currently a Solicitor in the Commercial Property Department at Palmers, having joined the firm in 2014. She specialises in commercial property law, and works in particular with clients in the construction and engineering sectors. Maisie’s promotion will mean an expansion of the services which she provides to the Construction sector by adding the drafting and negotiation of construction agreements to her already extensive portfolio. Maisie will be working alongside Construction Law partner Adam Davis and solicitor Jack Swadling.

Commenting on his appointment as a Partner, Luke said: “I am very pleased to have made Partner here at Palmers. I have very much enjoyed my time here and I am looking forward to making a new contribution to our success in my new role.”

Maisie said: “It is wonderful to be able to continue my work here at Palmers as an Associate Solicitor. I’m very much looking forwarding to taking on responsibility for the development of non-contentious construction work.”
