Mark Harris, a solicitor at South Essex-based law firm, Palmers, will be taking part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride next weekend to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.
Mark, who works at the firm’s Basildon office in the Debt and Insolvency Department, took part in the event last year, raising a total of £390 for the British Heart Foundation. This year, he’ll be joined on 19 June by his daughter, Cara, for the 54 mile bike ride.
Already, Mark and Cara have raised more than a third of their fundraising target of £250.
Mark said: “I’m delighted to be taking part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride and for such a worthwhile cause. I’m also looking forward to being joined by Cara for this year’s event and I’m optimistic we’ll raise a good sum for the British Heart Foundation.”
Partner, Lee McClellan, said: “All of us here at Palmers would like to congratulate Mark on his success last year and wish him and Cara well in this year’s event.”
