Palmers helps mark 1st Royal Anglian’s Homecoming March

Palmers showed its support for an important occasion in Basildon by decorating the entrance to its Town Square office.

The door was festooned with flags and balloons to mark the 1st Royal Anglian Battalion’s Homecoming March, in which the Battalion was also given the freedom of the borough.

In addition to this, the Mayor of Basildon, Councillor Mo Larkin, was presented with a British Empire medal by the Duke of Gloucester.

Council leader Councillor Tony Ball noted that Palmers was very much behind the town in marking these momentous events.
