Palmers hosts charity carol concert

On Thursday 11 December, Essex-based solicitors Palmers will be holding their annual charity Christmas carol concert.

Starting at 7.30pm at St. Martins of Tours Church, St. Martin’s Square, Basildon, SS14 1DX, the concert will be led by the Southend Brass Band who will be joined by representatives from the Southend Young Singers.

The concert is this year supporting St. Luke’s Hospice; a charity that provides specialist palliative care for people living in the Basildon and Thurrock districts with life threatening and life limiting disease. Although this often means cancer, it also includes other illnesses that are no longer curative, such as heart failure, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or motor neurone disease.

Palmers promises two hours of beautiful voices from the choir, great music from the band and maybe even some audience participation, all topped off with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie.

Consultant Solicitor at the law firm Chris Mowat said: “Palmers Solicitors is passionate about engaging with and supporting our local community. This promises to be a very special evening and it’s all for a great cause. I hope to see you there.”
