As part of the firm’s continued growth, we are pleased to introduce a number of new faces at our firm, along with the promotion of one of our partners.

We are delighted to announce that Adam Davis has been appointed an equity partner with the firm with effect from 1 August 2017.

Adam joined our firm in April 2008 as a paralegal and completed the Qualified Lawyers Transfer process to qualify as a solicitor in September 2009. He was made a salaried partner in August 2015.

Adam has been responsible for the growth of our firm’s construction department and, most recently, has been instrumental in the opening our new office on Rayleigh High Street, where he is branch partner.

Solicitor Paul Oldershaw recently joined our commercial property team in Basildon, working alongside our Partner, Carey Jacobs.

Paul’s impressive portfolio of work and clients has been well-earned over his 16-year legal career at a major Norfolk-based practice.  There, he dealt with property matters across the retail, healthcare, agriculture and property development sectors, among others. He has been consistently recommended by the prestigious Legal 500 and Chambers guides.

Also joining our Basildon office is Samantha Randall. Samantha advises employers and employees in relation to a wide range of employment issues, including drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and procedures and upon grievance and disciplinary processes.

Layna Thompson joined us as an Associate Solicitor and is based in our new Rayleigh office. Layna has a wealth of experience in property matters including buying and selling leasehold properties, lease extensions, right to buy transactions and transfers of equity. She was named in the ‘Rising Star’ list in the Super Lawyer awards in 2014 and 2015, published in The Telegraph.
