Essex-based solicitors Palmers is proud to announce that one of its solicitors has passed the second of four exams that will enable him to obtain the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Diploma in Trusts and Estates.
By passing the second module, Jonathan Saunders is half way to holding an industry standard diploma that develops a practical understanding of the law and procedures involved in trust and estate administration, tax and accounting.
The Diploma comprises four papers; Administration of Estates, Administration of Trusts Taxation of Trusts and Estates, and Trust and Estate Accounting. Completion of the programme provides a recognised professional qualification for those already working within the trusts and estates field.
Basildon-based Jonathan completed his LLB Honours degree at the University of Kent before undertaking the Legal Practice Course on a part-time basis at the College of Law in Bloomsbury, London. Jonathan qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and joined Palmers in the same year.
